Changing an inner tie rod and the stupid thing just won't budge? This compact, heavy-duty tool is your secret weapon. It's designed specifically for breaking loose (and tightening) those stubborn inner tie rods. It works on pretty much any standard inner tie rod with a smooth cylindrical end that fits between its 3-inch wide jaws. You just slide it over the tie rod end, tighten the two 9/16-inch nuts on the side to clamp down, and then use a 3/8-inch drive ratchet or breaker bar in the square hole to crank it. The inside has sharp ridges that bite into the metal to prevent slipping. It's way cheaper and less bulky than renting a giant tube-style tool from the parts store. Made from hardened steel with a black coating, it's built to last. A must-have for DIY mechanics tackling front-end suspension work. Note: It doesn't come with instructions, so if you're not comfortable, maybe leave it to a pro. But for the savvy home mechanic, this tool saves a ton of time and frustration.
