A highly breathable, waterproof, and bacterial-barrier top film maintains a moist healthy healing environment, which helps to reduce scarring. A hydrocolloid dressing does not stick to the wound and does not damage the new epithelial cells when removed. It minimizes pain and trauma when dressing change, and enhances patient’s comfort. Excellent elasticity conforms to body contour and can be easily used on areas hard to dress. It may be used for light to moderate drainage: minor cuts, minor scalds and burns, lacerations and minor abrasions, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, minor surgical wounds.
