Description Cod is a lean, mild tasting fish. It is tender-firm and remains white in color after cooking. Cod live in cold, deep sea waters. Its history dates them back to the Viking period (as early as 793 AD). Available in portions. Product Preparation Cod portions come individually frozen. Thaw cod portions in the refrigerator or submerge in cold water. Cod is often deep-fried as in the popular dish, fish and chips.         Region Asia
